William Willy Love….
Took a look at his film in which he plays both Offense (WR) and Defense (CB, S).
The tape does what it is edited and supposed to do – show off his talent/skills. He is a very talented athlete.
A multi-positional HS player, as most are, but his skills are up there.
Although no times were shown on any of the major recruiting sites his speed is evident in his film mostly on the offensive side where he is used as WR split wide to either side. There were several plays where he made catches for touchdowns and beat his coverage creating separation as he increases his speed into the well-run route.
His talent on D is exceptional. A very hard hitter as a safety, the hit sometimes separates the ball from the RB or receiver. He plays UP at times and catches the RB before he can cross the LOS. Again, when he hits, you can tell the object that he’s hitting is hit hard and does not get up very quickly.
The fact that his cousin, Duce Chestnut, plays for us now “may increase” our chances of his commitment. He has many offers, one from the defending National Champions – Georgia.
He would definitely be a great first addition to the 2024 class, a four star rated player who has visited SU. Listed at 6’ 3” 195 LBS he has the physical gifts that make him what he is.
Another Jersey Dude. Hope the pipeline includes him.
