What's wrong with this exactly? He's still committed to us.
I am not a fan of the system as it is. I feel like once someone is "committed", they should not be taking visits any longer. I know others disagree but I just think it's a silly system. Just abolish the concept of the verbal commitment then. What's wrong with this exactly? He's still committed to us.
Coaches are always welcome to set those guidelines for the verbal commits to their school.I am not a fan of the system as it is. How will coaches know if they have to recruit anyone else, if they don’t know someone is committedI am not a fan of the system as it is. Do you think that a coach would be very successful if they were the one who said, once you commit here, no more free trips. Its an all or nothing situationCoaches are always welcome to set those guidelines for the verbal commits to their school.
I don't know. I'm simply saying that the verbal commitment should trigger something. I don't know the answer. Maybe just change the terminology. Because a commitment in most settings means you stop looking elsewhere, and stop putting yourself in settings where others can flirt with you. Ask everyone in a committed relationship lolHow will coaches know if they have to recruit anyone else, if they don’t know someone is committed
While I don't know if he has changed his thinking, it was Dabo Swinney's philosophy at Clemson. Kirk Ferentz at Iowa and Paul Johnson when he coached at Georgia Tech also.Do you think that a coach would be very successful if they were the one who said, once you commit here, no more free trips. You do not hate the system, this has been the system forever.
Im not going down this rabbit hole lol. I just wish the word commitment when it came to recruiting meant the same thing as it does pretty much everywhere else. But it is what it isYou do not hate the system, this has been the system forever.
You hate that you can se this all going on more.
So you actually hate Social Media. This is all stuff that has ALWAYS been occurring we just did not see it as easily.
50% of marriages end in divorce. Commitment hasn't been a real word in decades across the life spectrum. Best to just not get worked up since you cant do anything about it.Im not going down this rabbit hole lol. I'm not talking about divorce. Divorce would be the transfer portal. That's fine. I'm talking about when the couple gets engaged. They aren't still dating other people. Would you prefer not to have our guys continually recruited by high level programs? I see it as a step in the right direction. These blue blood programs go through this every year with close to 25-50% of their class.Im not going down this rabbit hole lol.
