No one said that. I was just saying there is a little flexibility in the mix of players you end up taking in a given class but the flexibility is limited.Who are all these hybrd DE/OLB types that Syracuse has supposedly brought in?
Regarding the comment on a highly recruited player being added to the class late, it has happened just about every recruiting class of the DM era. The SU staff likes to keep in contact with highly regarded players and likes to do it in sleath mode. We shouldn't ignore history when it comes to recruiting...
