Last point. If Dino ever turns it around he will bolt and take the first offer he gets.
Where do I sign up for this?

No need to worry, Dino never intended to go for two. It was all a show to make everyone think he wanted to.I actually wanted to kick it so I was happy the incompetence worked. But the fact is happened is an issue.
After what happened on our first attempt earlier I had little confidence there.
a play ready to go ? all we ran all day was either schrader or turner. not that complicated.Every team...EVERY TEAM has a play ready to go for a 2 point conversion.
Where do you spot the ball...what's the formation...where do we attack.
except Babers' CUSE.
It was horrendous defense too.Yeah. The call for the touchdown to tucker was brilliance though. Or absurd improv.
I just can’t find it in me to get that upset about tonight.
This is the feeling I get. I hope he stays healthy, mostly for his own sake.Shrader is totally free lancing and making plays.
It’s not coaching.
He needs to work on throwing the football and that requires getting good coaching.
Agree. The staff’s incompetence briefly saved them from themselves.I was glad that happened actually because I didn’t wanna lose there. I was preferring to go to overtime but that’s just me.
That’s the beauty lost on most here. There’s only a play or two in the playbook actually in play here…or at least there should be.Every team...EVERY TEAM has a play ready to go for a 2 point conversion.

This team has the makings of being really good next year. Make a coaching change and you lose players and the better coaches on staff. This team shows a lot of improvement from last year and that was the expectation going into the season. Starting over starts another five year plan and I want no part of that.
Agreed. Dino had his white hot “it” coach moment. But that was 3 years ago and he’s suffered a ton of damage to his resume since thenDino is 60. Making Cuse ok isn’t getting him a better offer.
Solid game to put Kent at 3-3. Take out their 3 games they use to pay for their program and they would be close to bowling. i think they make it to the MAC championshipCrack a beer and chill. Next.
Turn on Buffalo at Kent State like I have.
If Gilbert goes so might Shrader. Gilbert recruited him.I like defensive staff and our OL coach. Maybe our new WR coach is a keeper but the rest can go. Problem is if Dino is let go then we likely lose the staff and some players. I see potential with this team and would like to see it for the next two years so would be frustrating to reset but I just don’t see Dino being better than a 7 or 8 win coach in a good year.
Dino's excuse/explanation was that their kicker was nailing it from distance in practice. Practice, practice, PRACTICE - big diference when it counts. If we had any other coach.
1: Never ever give them another opportunity. DONT TAKE THE PENALTY. Its a 51 yarder. We get the ball either in great shape or after the kickoff. Crazy bad decision. Maybe one of his worst ever.
2: Going for the win. Seriously a delay of game PENALTY. How does this ever happen. I dont think i have ever seen a delay of game when a team is going for 2.
He is GOD awful. Cant make a decision to save his life. Its why he stuck with Tommy when everyone watching practice new Shrader was better.

Outside of saving the buyout money there isn't any upside with this guy. He isn't loyal to SU was out the door after Erics miracle year and only stayed because the coaching cards didn’t fall his way.
Guy wears SU Hawaiian shirts. Hes gone once his buyout is less and he will leave the first Chance he gets.
SU is in a no win situation with this CAT.
He would have made his longest against the Cuse, that's how the cookie crumbles for the Orange. Just like that kicker hitting that 67 yarder against the Lions, we're in the same boat with them.Dino's excuse/explanation was that their kicker was nailing it from distance in practice. Practice, practice, PRACTICE - big diference when it counts.
If you aren't committed to a rebuild we are committed to what? Talented but not All-american players with a coach who puts us at a strategical disadvantage every game? I don't buy it takes 5 years to be good or that any staff member is irreplaceable. Wildhack won't fire him because we are cheap and because I think ADJW is as ill prepared for this as Dino is. I want to move on but understand we won't.This team has the makings of being really good next year. Make a coaching change and you lose players and the better coaches on staff. And even if he does we have an 8 point lead instead of 4 and our O has 4 minutes to work with instead of 40 seconds.
He does get whipped in the adjustment category every week too. Clawson and his staff took ours apart after halftime. This has been going on for 6 years. The worst game day coach I’ve ever watched. At least some coaches are incompetent at making in game adjustments. We’re also incompetent at just basics, like time management.
