They rotate Heckel in every game...usually for Adams.

Yes I've noticed this too quite often throughout the season. The first time I noticed it, I'm not sure which game it was, but it was in the first half, and I thought oh no Adams is hurt. But Adams came back in and was available for the rest of the game. I've noticed it in probably every game since, and just take it as a sign that Heckel is essentially the 6th starter. So if injuries happen he will be prepared

Left side of the O Line got killed, It was like Conway and Adams were taking turns on who was going to get beat. Servias needs to get his snaps up to. When you have that kind of rush coming at you, the quarterback should not be catching snaps between his shoe top and his ankle and knee time after time.

Adams doesn’t play on the left side. Roberts does.

Can't think they did. I rewatched some of the game last night and the OL was as bad as advertised. In fact I think people who are saying they were bad are underselling how bad it was. Close to the worst OL game I have seen in some time. They were bad when ND only rushed 4 and when they blitzed it was even worse.

We had some nice runs up the middle when ND were flexed out wide in the first half. At half time they adjusted and thier LBs took about 2 steps towards the middle and that run was pretty much over.

Completely overstated. In the 4th quarter, Conway started to get beat bad. Up to that point, the pressure on Devito came from pass coverage and our receivers unable to get separation. Sacks always look like an OL issue to an untrained eye.

If have seen Heckel come in for one series a few times but this was different.

Watching the replay now. This was no rotation. Missed the start of the game but I am near the end of the 3rd quarter and finally saw a series where Adams played. After that, Heckel was right back in. Looks like Heckel might have changed roles with Adams at RG.

Update: Adams did return to play in the final drive of the 4th quarter. But Heckel got far more snaps on Saturday,

Easily the worst without question. Their ft looked like they were in concrete.

Nobody is arguing that. But now I see how Roberts hasn’t been good all year and Koda Martin has struggled in pass protection all year and crap like that. If you have a trained eye as you say, you have to admit people overlook the 1st 9 or 10 games if the last game was bad. And they’ve been better than “decent”
