Feel bad its like because of injury.
We needed to try other options but I don’t like he got hurt. He took a beating the last 2 years.
Also I respect he came back out after he was injured.
Hope he gets a medical RS since he only played 4 games and keeps a year of eligibility if he moves on.

So sorry to read this. Tommy is easy to like and root for. Hate to see these guys get seriously hurt. They work so hard to get a chance to play 10 or 12 games. It really stinks.

Yup, I'm no Devito apologist but there's a reason he's been the clear cut starter. Things are about to get UGLY, like Tim Lane and Rice Moss level bad. Hope Dillion is ready

Toughing it out on a bad high ankle sprain wouldn't be a good option for him behind this line. Hope he sticks around and we get him WRs who don't suck at catching the friggen ball.

I'd guess he moves on, he could go to a lot of schools and put up big numbers have fun and win some football games, he's not much different from a lot of our guys, they come in and leave the same, same strengths same weaknesses and never get better, ED had a trash throwing motion they never fixes, he went and worked with a QB guy for a few months and came back with a whole new motion at the pro day, is he great in the pocket no, does he see the field great i don't think so but we have not had even decent play callers since TD has been here, the fact he can probably go somewhere else and put up numbers and play well is all we need to know about the state of the program here. Maybe just maybe DB bounced around from school to school and position to position is because he was a nice guy who was dispensable and exactly a brilliant coach, a very vanilla dare i say average coach, he got the A&M OC job and got demoted for running a vanilla basic offense. he took a chance on himself and took the up tempo fast offense he saw and was super hot after all the success art briles and baylor had, he had jimmy g waiting for him, parlayed that into BG where all he had to do was install and offense and run with what dave clawson left for him, parlayed that into cuse where he had ED and parlayed ED into a big contract extension, I said yesterday if we win the board would say were back and a loss fire babers, I'm not on the fire babers but these feeling of mine didn't appear yesterday. Real offensive gurus don't have these problems not one of them. Everyone blaming TD for everything blame DB before you blame DB because the program which is all his is a mess.

Isn't this a free year. Shouldn't he have two years left regardless?
It is a free year but a medical RS would allow him to transfer and not lose a year transferring if he chose to do that.
Don’t like a kid getting hurt.
He has taken a beating these last 2 years. I wanted to see other QBs play but I don’t like it under these circumstances.
I like Rex but he is not the answer. I’d try markowitz, summers, the other freshman the walkon everyone until we can see if anyone can consistently move the ball. This is a lost season. Let’s give everyone an opportunity. It could only help us in the future.

Ok. I didn't realize the medical redshirt would change anything with regards to a transfer.

Assuming he graduates this year he can transfer as a grad transfer without penalty as well.

I'd guess they run rex out their until it gets embarrassing, they need to beat liberty, can't run a true freshman out against clemson, if rex looks this bad I can't imagine how bad dillon would be especially now
