All these comments and you fail to notice the recommenbation of a GPA between 3 and 3.5 to be eligible to pay right away. So all these ideas of all the players moving just ain't so. I mean how many kids have that type of GPA.

Soon you’ll have Carolina not only offering no show courses, but capping athletes GPAs at 2.9.

Players shouldn’t get paid because they’re not that important to the program and players shouldn’t be allowed to transfer without sitting out a year because they’re too important for the program.

This is a terrible idea. Transfers will increase 3 fold, and the NCAA already has a transfer epidemic. Hate hate hate this idea.

Athlete transfer rates are less than students in general.

That’s going to be the new wild card.

A player wants to transfer and suddenly his B in Geology becomes a C.

That would be pretty lousy. Even if there were coaches sleazy enough to do this (and although coach Cal may be sleazy, usually he sleazes in favor of the player) I don't think it would work. The player would still probably transfer and sit out a year, especially if he thought someone at the school was messing with his GPA..
