Did anybody else get this email? (Cuse Fan Council)

Already replied and volunteered...

You coming to Syracuse once a month? :)

IMO required attendance at monthly meetings is asking too much. Especially for non locals. They should have a meeting every month but only require that you attend at least one per quarter. So have it be every 3rd week of the month for 12 months with a requirement that you attend at least one every three months. And/or for the meetings you miss you can send a questionnaire based on that meeting that you are required to reply to via email.

"Fan Experience and Ticket Sales"

aka

"Why won't locals attend games?"

Probably why they want monthly attendance, because they don't really expect out-of-towners to apply. If you already come in for games every week, you're not the problem.

i did not read the whole thread. i am a former sth, i have a problem with NOT including the " casual base" in the discussions. they fill most of the seats
I have submitted my name for this committee. Such a great idea. I've been emailing back and forth with Coyle on this for a few weeks now.

In all honesty, there should be about 3 members of this board serving the on that committee. The true diehards.
this does NOT NEED all diehards---on the contrary they need the townies on there. they fill more seats than anyone!!! i was a townie and still am at heart.---thats honesty. one question i have is why the hoops team has such great donors and the football team not? townies are sth as well if you give them a product to buy.

I suggested meetings be convenient to games when possible.

Here in the technical vastness of the future, they have a thing called a conference bridge. Everyone calls in to the same number, and everyone can hear and talk to everyone else. Think of it as a multi-house party line.

I'm with you on that, pal. Please check my original post--there is a link there that will take you to th SU Athletics webpage where they ask for candidates--including sth and non-sth, whether townies or out of towners. They are looking for people who GAS--most of the people here do. Tell some of your local fan friends about the link and encourage them to apply.

There has already been a general tweet to anyone who wants to apply. And it's on the website. Anyone can do it. It's not just for STH, we're just the ones who they have emails for.
