Did Benny eventually show up at the Dome today?

This is a BS narrative that I've seen way too much on this board. I've watched every game this season, and I've seen Benny cheering, clapping, giving high fives, throwing the various 3 and dunk symbols, etc... in every one he's been at.
I don’t know if it’s true about Bennie or not, but I remember last years run and I saw Woody all happy and clapping a bunch. He promptly left immediately when he was able to. It’s a silly thing to analyze in either direction

He must really be hurt to miss Senior day

What a weird thread. If people want to suggest he wasn’t at the game because he’s mad at JB they should just say so.

No. Speaking for myself, I just find it odd. Sr day. last regular season game. First one where he is out with an injury. Once again, speaking for myself, I would do anything I could to be there if I was a teammate. Now, maybe he just couldn't be there. Fine.

SU said he couldn’t be there. Everything about whole program is “odd” right now. This didn’t make the top 20 for me.

Okay. I will await your top 20 list. It's okay that I think it's odd, right?

Maybe someday medical science will create something where you can lean on two supports plus a good organic lower member to keep pressure off the injured lower member (they even might give it the cool-sounding name of "crutches"). Or maybe they will combine one novel invention where you can place your fanny on some structure without sitting on the ground (could rhyme it with one of Benny's most fashionable features, "chair") with a round object that allows said structure to roll without sitting person putting weight on injured lower member (wheel + chair). Incredibly, a devoted teammate could have the ability to root for his teammates in person without having the circus-like ability of walking on his hands.

It took me 2 seconds to find it.

Are we going to take the PR guy's word for it? Did anybody check Benny's Twitter? Did he have a message on there, "sorry, I can't be there for my boys but gotta take it easy after surgery..." Did any of the journos try to contact Benny or his father? How is Wednesday going to be any different than Saturday if it was to rest an injury? Flying on a plane to NY and back and shuffling between the hotel and Barclay's is good for the injury? Was he advised by his people to go Wednesday to save face after missing today so it won't look so bad to prospective schools he wants to transfer? Anyway, this is the story for now. Stay tuned. Sounds fishy. Just playing devil's advocate and asking questions. I might be wrong and this is truly what happened. I do not think it is a lock though that he won't transfer.

most adults leave there twitters alone

Benny was told to stay off his feet completely for 72 hours to allow any swelling to go down. Unfortunatly the orthopedic surgeon who insisted on this did not check this thread to see there were other options or explanations for his absence.

Decaf.

That was one of my two guesses. Either he had to stay off his feet or there was some necessary treatment.

Orthopedic surgeon was my safety career. Luckily I got my first choice.

I don’t know what games you were watching. Go YouTube every game and watch it through and through. You’re completely wrong

He got hurt on Monday against UNC, didn’t he?

I think the point is that he’s exhibited the outward characteristics of a good teammate all season. That doesn’t mean he’ll be back next year, but generally means he’s part of this team, is behind his teammates and wants his team to win. And that’s really all you can ask from a player who won’t be able to contribute on the floor.

He definitely doesn’t get as excited as some other guys but I’ve definitely seen him clap and be involved on the bench during the season

He will be back. He’s said it many times. He’s a smart kid and realizes he’s the reason he’s hasn’t played as much as he hoped and knows he has to get better.

I just can’t believe we’re having body language on the bench discussions, still.
I would put Devo on the staff and make him the body language and demeanor coach. He'd teach these kids how to properly jump on tables, and the program would be better off for it.
