Lunardi is terrible at his job
You want players to be NBA prospects, that’s a good thing. I wish a guy like Malachi had more success but I don’t think it’s ever bad to get a guy drafted.I've never thought we were as far out of bubble consideration as some. I believe we have a lot of work still to do, but certainly feasible. It obviously depends on what other teams are doing, but I like our chances if we can finish 13-7 in the regular season and make the finals in the acc tournament. The only downer to that outcome is that if we end up doing that, Mintz is probably continuing to play really well possibly leading himself to the draft.
That’s like saying I wish Melo would have stunk it up in 2003 so we could have had him back the next year.I've never thought we were as far out of bubble consideration as some. That's what you're saying, not me. I'll take Mintz playing well and getting drafted any day of the week. I actually like this team. That’s like saying I wish Melo would have stunk it up in 2003 so we could have had him back the next year.
I’ve never seen it as a downer when a Orange player balls out. That's what you're saying, not me. I'll take Mintz playing well and getting drafted any day of the week. I actually like this team.
I think 19 will be good enough for NIT including a first round win in ACCTits simple
20 wins total to even qualify for the NIT
23 for the NCAA's
These include the ACC Tournament
I agree. Although, it's been a downer when guys leave early (at least for me). I'm always happy for them and wish them well - but from a fan perspective, it's disappointing to lose their talent and production.I’ve never seen it as a downer when a Orange player balls out.
Need to be on the other side from UVA and they get knocked outJoe says everyone has a shot, personally I look at team rankings and they say (including tourney)
22 wins = 21% chance
23 wins = 70% chance
24 wins = 100% chance (because they assume that’s ACCT win I believe)
even if we lose out we go 16-16 and thats all you need to make the nit even if they dont pick us.I think 19 will be good enough for NIT including a first round win in ACCT
I probably believe this is on the money, but if we then win 2 in the ACC tournament, I think we are looking pretty good.barttorvik.com has a Teamcast page where you can play around with different W/L scenarios and see how they change Cuse’s bubble status.
If you click ”win out” to make us 5-0 the rest of the regular season, we’re in … the next four out.
I would not take bootleg kenpom as gospel, but I trust it more than Joey.
Neat page. Added some ACC tourney wins at the end and still no dice. Clearly a very uphill climbbarttorvik.com has a Teamcast page where you can play around with different W/L scenarios and see how they change Cuse’s bubble status.

I want Miami againNeed to be on the other side from UVA and they get knocked out
Nope...NIT changed several years ago. A .500% power team isn't an automatic anymore. Probably need about 19 wins.even if we lose out we go 16-16 and thats all you need to make the nit even if they dont pick us.
I get wisc is ahead of us because net means everything but are they really any better..
You go down the b10 and go wow I dont want to play that team and its pretty much Purdue and then a ton of avg teams just like ACC. They have 2 ranked teams the Bad ACC has 3..
Everyone is gonna end up with 10+ losses after the top 10 it seams and when the top 20 is really avg lots of teams end up with net wins without really being very good.
