If we collect the big check, we should play by the new rules of college athletics. Otherwise play by the Patriot league amateur rules. As much as I am nostalgic for true amateur athletics, we need to realize that our competition is paying players. We should gather our wealthiest and influential alumni/donor/friends of the Cuse and come up with a plan to pay these players so that we can competitively recruit athletes. It’s cute to see buddy doing an apple farm commercial but it just shows how far behind we are vs other P5 schools. I know will never be Alabama Auburn or the other SEC schools but we should at least not try to act like Bucknell, Fordham and St Bonaventure’s.

He opens up a bit more after a win than a loss. I suspect this is to keep his emotions in check so he doesn’t lash out and say stupid things that’ll make him look bad. I watched Freeze’s post game after their loss to us and it was kind of pathetic. Sure, it’s sometimes good to see coaches with their emotions on their sleeves but it was just … sad.

Ya know who killed it post game? Shrader. Loved the way he talked, felt like a leader, that’s the QB I want.

Of course he would. But it would be asinine to fire Dino only to hire one of his understudies - who guess what - is 2-3 at Kent State and has not even made a MAC championship game.

Syracuse needs to set the bar higher than this. Sean Lewis will not be the next HC here.

I know the stats very well - they haven't been competitive in those games. But sure, he'll be successful at Syracuse! He was 3-1 against an all-mac schedule last year after all!!!

One good thing I'll say about Dino, he really wore that orange polo yesterday. I mean, Cuse fans wear orange polos all the time and generally look ridiculous. I thought Dino really pulled it off.
