It never ceases to amaze me about the poor research. The interviewer says it's our first time since 1935 when we were 6-0 which is completely wrong because the graphic on screen says 1987. I 'm sure we were 6-0 in 1959 too. Then, he refers to the 9-3 season that was really 10-3. It's not the interviewer's fault if he was fed the wrong info by researchers. If he did his own prep for the interview, then it's his fault. Sloppy, lazy, clean it up.

"Syracuse beat NC State on Saturday to improve to 6-0 on the season, only the 3rd time the Orange have won their first 6 games of the season since 1935, this comes on the heels of a 5 and 7 season one year ago for 'Cuse..."

I think you may want to go back and listen again to the first 18 seconds. Below is exactly what he said.

You are correct, I missed that "third time..." So this is not as bad as I heard it then. Only the 9-3 thing needed to be cleaned up. Thanks for pointing it out to me.
