Even if he wasn't told, he knows. There were enough people behind him chanting Fire Babers (or Fire Dino can't recall) that it was pretty clearly audible on the telecast.

in my stands you only knew what the chant was if you really thought about what they were saying. it was not very lout at all..

I watched the last Star Wars release one row behind Dino. Funny to hear him hum the opening theme while it was playing. There was only a few ppl in the theater

Ya, coaches pretend like they know so much more than anyone else. Why bother with the facts.

My buddy is a western New York HS football coach. He follows Syracuse, but not closely. He despises Dino. Always tells a story of going to a coaching clinic. Trying to get better, pick up some helpful information from experienced coaches that do this for a living. He always tells this story of going to a clinic with Dino where other high school coaches were asking some questions and Dino kept responding with, well, I can’t really talk about that. He wouldn’t expand on anything and wouldn’t help any of the coaches, which is the entire point of a coaching clinic.

My buddy has been to a couple of these and has said how helpful coaches generally are. Everyone except for Dino who is too paranoid or maybe not smart enough to share any insight for these local high school coaches. It must have been bad because this guy doesn’t say anything bad or negative about anyone. And he just tears Dino apart any time I bring up the Syracuse program. Just a bad look all around. Why even show up if you’re not going to help. Not that we get much local talent from Buffalo area. But why would a coach help you or send players your way if you’re not going to help them out. Wonder if this happens elsewhere or has rubbed any other coaches the wrong way when there player is contemplating Syracuse.

That reminds of people in my professional life that anytime you ask them to expound on something they make excuses for why they can't right then. They later send an email with information that clearly came from the internet.

In other words, maybe he doesn't actually know that much and therefore can't answer questions because he is concerned of being found out as a fraud. Not saying that is the case, just saying that how I've experienced in the real world.

Dino is not getting fired in season. If they somehow get to 6 wins, I genuinely don't think he's going to be fired. I think he'll get the final year next year (not that I agree with it)

Syracuse Football is a tough job to win at but they also treat every dollar like it's worth double, so having to pay someone to not work for them just isn't gonna fly with the Chancellor.

We've all been around Syracuse Athletics long enough to know we usually make the correct decision too long after it's obvious to everyone.

Yeah I don't see 2 more wins on the schedule, but if they somehow do win 6 I just don't see the AD making the change (even though they should)

yeah kind of the way I see it, it's not going to happen but you at least have to be 100% make sure that it won't and hey if people want to debate a 6-6 record with probably 5 awful losses, have at it but at least the season is over.

I would love to see McPhail. People will be ready for the 4th stringer in 5 minutes and then the 5th 5 minutes after that. Although I will still be rooting for Luke leading the team to 3 wins coming in and the "why was Luke 3rd string" discussions.

I honestly think both CRDW or Shrader will sit this week as they are both hurt, just guessing though

I've already got this one teed up for when he completes his 2nd pass beyond the line of scrimmage. CDRW only completed one, unless you count the ones BC caught.
