Kevin Jones and Herb Pope are probably up there. Lamb was the preseason favorite and he's been good as well. People are in love with DRUMMOND so he could be a candidate as well.
But if we are in late February and there is no obvious winner, and we are running away with the Big East they might give it to the best player on the best team, which would be Dion. If he got the PT and shots that any of those other guys got, he'd be leading the conference in scoring easily.

Lamb is averaging 19/4/2/2/1 and shooting 51% from the field, if UConn stays around the top 3 for the most year I wouldn't be surprised if he gets it.
Jones averaging 20/11/1/1/1 and shooting at a 54% clip.
Dion won't finish in the top 10 in the conference in any major category except steals and possibly assists. We all know how he great he is, but he won't put up the numbers to get the hardware. Obviously he's at a disadvantage because he gets half the PT that those other 2 guys do though.
He'll win 6th man of year of the BE and NCAA, as well as being a 1st team All-Big East member (maybe most improved as well).

It's a stats award. It will almost certainly go to someone among the statistical leaders in the conference and with the balance on this team I'm not sure Dion will be there. Also there is about a 0% chance of it going to someone coming off of the bench.
