Dion officially gone

you dont need to finish spring courses to not have an effect on the APR. it really comes down to what summer work he did the last two years. he is a 2nd year student doesnt that just mean he has to have completed like X number of credits thru 4 semesters.. you could do enough course work in one year and not do anything the 4th semester and be ok.

Thats good enough for me

LOL, ok. Guess it isn't a problem then. Just like Jonny and Paul were up to date on their classwork when they left.

Oh wait...

Fab bad student, Dion we do not know for sure, Mookie withdrew from school

We have 9 of 11 players for sure including Trevor who are in good standing on this years roster

APR is by 4 years; so I think Devo, Harris, Flynn, Fab, Dion, Mookie would all be on the same score..

Why bring that up we will be okay. As many people on this board have said aside from Fab, everybody else on the team are good students

So stop trying to stir up trouble

From coach b's mouths to our ears. losing two guys early to the leauge who don't finish their schoolwork can disqualify you in the coming years.

To you sir, I say stop pointing your finger because the writing is on the wall and coach B has confirmed it. Rosey glasses are unnecessary.

Yikes just realized 2014 would be our first year in the acc, not good to start with a ban lol

To you sir, Coach said we would be eligible to play in next years tournament 2013. He never said anything about the 2014 tournament he went on his APR rant

apr is on a term by term basis. so what may have been done last summer has nothing to do with this current term.

First its cart, second, wake up if you dont think its a real possibility theres a ban

Yeah anythings a possibility i could marry Kate Upton that's a possibility, Or i could go out tommorrow and get hit by a bus thats a possibility

Anything is possible, but does not mean it happens

Wes actually did what players should do and finished his grades. Not sure how you ignore Eric and Paul from that season, though. They will continue to kill us for a few more years.
eric graduated

I guess I am one of the only ones who don't really see his game translating to the NBA very well. Is he a PG? He doesn't have great court vision and is not a great passer (he is OK here). Is he a shooting guard? He doesn't have a great shot (He is a decent, maybe even good shooter, but not really great). He does a lot of things good, he is strong and fast, but he doesn't do anything great. He doesn't get to the hoop and finish at will against the better teams we played, how is he going to do that in the NBA? He plays very emotionally, which is fine in the college game, but how is he going to do that over an 80 games season with 48 minute games?

If he works real hard to improve his shot, I suppose he can stick around. I also don't blame him at all for leaving, but I just don't see it at all.

I am not predicting we will be banned, but you seemed to be outright dismissing the possibility. Definitely not worth worrying about right now. We'll get some more info in May when last year's scores are released.

Okay even if it did whats the worse could happen ? Do not cite Uconn cause that program is a mess

This doesn't make sense.

And how is their program not relevant to this situation? If you are comparing UConn's APR against ours it's completely relevant.

why dismissive of the chances? our apr score already cost us scholies before.

We all know he was leaving

But to have it come 2 days after we get eliminated from the tournament one win away from the final four and a shot at another championship

It just have a problem with that
It isn't like it was just decided. Obviously it was decided a long time ago. I think its a good idea to get it out there as early as possible for recruiting.

Are you paying attention at all? The worst that could happen is we are banned from the tournament in 2014. If our 4 year score is below 930, we'd be banned.

I'm glad he announced now because the reigns have been officially turned over to MCW. I think this helps us with Noel.
I am really liking our backcourt next year. BT, MCW and Cooney.

i thought it was a standing as of a place in time.. to be in good standing you need to have completed a certain number of courses . by other logic you could take 6 courses a semester and get all a's for 2 years and then one semester take 3 courses and fail one and get two c's and you would be in trouble..

at this same time you would have a GPA of 3.5 and be close to graduating in 3 years.. yet the APR would say you were doing poorly because of one course?

what i was told was that you had to have completed a set number of credits for each period you were playing.. so after 1 year you need 18 credits.. etc.. to be eligible to play is a different criteria
