I’m pretty sure the staff has known for a while. That’s why we haven’t heard much about transfer D Lineman.

The back 8 all being a year older, wiser and stronger will only help the front 3.

Imagine if all 3 DBs stayed for their 4th playing year. This D could have been something special by Syracuse standards.

Still could be, as the youth at DB is going to be fine, but 3 draft picks are 3 draft picks (assuming/hoping they are).

They need guys that can move not take up space. If Roscoe comes back, I dont see them pursuing a transfer D lineman. Ive heard good things about Harper and I expect Caleb to be better next year too.

Its 6 returning 5th 6th year starters. Basically 30% of your starters that dont need to be replaced. Great job by Dino.

It’s great to see Bear back, he was a big piece and should solidify an already capable defense. And, I would agree that getting players back who’ve been in the system this long is huge. We really did a fine job there.

But, it’s hard for me to say we should go bowling. I really don’t know what to expect from this whole group, their upperclassmen years paint a picture.

Hopefully things fall into place for them. But, we’ll only go as far as the offense can take us, if that’s not fixed, 10-pins will stand.

Agree. The defense should be pretty solid, but hardly anyone wins games with defense anymore. Especially us. Good offense, solid defense, we can win 7. Average to bad offense, solid defense, we don't go to a bowl.
