May or may not have been about money. Probably more to due with the offer and possibly staff changes. There has never been guard rails to prevent this situation as players have always been able to decommit from schools at this time since they are only verbally committed.

As I noted above, and others have said, with a lot of defensive staff changes will come some verbal de-commitments. Plus, he's from the Philadelphia area, so with Penn State pushing hard for him, this is hardly a surprise.

Can’t say this enough, need a big guy manning the defensive line. Gotta get a 6-4 330 lb 3 shade to create havoc on the line. If a team doesn’t game plan for him, they aren’t worried at all. Haven’t had that since Arthur Jones but Slayton was good too.

I am sure in a 4-2 he does and a guy that size would be better in a 3-3 also. Defenses can’t get them and why they scheme stuff up. Almost any defense needs that guy just not many of them to get.
