Curious what everyone's thoughts are? I think we have a chance, especially if we continue to play like we did against Clemson. If we finish this year strong, I think next year we have a chance to be in the Top 25 sometime throughout the year.

If we didn't lose to MTSU or LSU we're in the top 25 this year. I'm confident we'll be there next year. Not high, but we'll be in.

Right that MTSU was such a killer. And we totally should of won that LSU game (Totally didn't agree with the onside kick)

Welcome to crazy train here x glad to see more aboard. Was tempted to call you a band wagoner but see you've been here since 2015. Hope to see many many more jumping on the train now as like HCFDB has said we'll happily take on all comers going forward.

To answer your question if we manage to go 8-4 or better thisnyear than next year there's a good shot at preseason rankings as that will mean we've beaten some historic college football powers on the way to also being likely ranked THIS season. Going to be challenging next year to do that however and as for next year we lose quite a bit so short it's unlikely to get preseason recognition.

If others step up to replace the lbs and wr's in a productive way and good things happen next year all the more than sure there's a chance for ranking. I'm thinking this all is going to have a '84 feeling to it in that (if HCFDB sticks around), the promised land of regular rankings is a couple seasons off.

I think next year's schedule is going to be interesting b/c the winnable games we usually circle as "winnable" are on the road and the iron is at home. I'll be curious how that all plays out. I would love to see us preseason ranked top 25 if this season finishes on a high note.

Next week top 25 would be preferable though!

Thanks for not calling me a Band wagoner. I appreciate it that. Been a 'Cuse fan for as long as I can remember. Havent been active on the site though in years hahah. Was just so hyped after the game on Friday thought I would jump on and share the excitement with some other 'Cuse fans!

I honestly dont think we will be a better team next year. Losing the defensive seniors (throwing slayton in here because i think he goes) and WR seniors will be huge.

Going into next season? I don't think so unless they finish strong and win a bowl game. They lose vital pieces on both ends of the ball and that's usually weighed in preseason Top 25 rankings.

Amen bro, gonna drop a post soon to ratchet up and get the weeks hype and excitement up a notch.

Yeah, I think so. That seems a reasonable goal. With the schedule easing up a bit and a lot of guys returning next year, I'm hoping we get an 8 win team and sneak into the Top 25 at some point during the year.

This might have been joking, but maybe don't judge people's fandoms based on the date they joined the site? I didn't even know this place existed for the longest time but have been a fan my whole life. I'm guessing I wasn't in the minority...
