Yes. As I’ve mentioned, my hope is for a high caliber PG and Center who are ready to start right away.

This year we had 4 transfers, 5 returners, 3 incoming freshman.

We have 4 freshman for next year, 3 returners - so you still have 5 spots left. If JJ and Bell come back you only have room for 3 more guys. I think you absolutely take Abaev but I think we will need Portal help next year … and ideally more than a few

Yeah, as far as 2025, I think two names to look at as potentials. As noted above, Constanza if he moves to 2025, and Asher Elson with OTE, who has said he wants to visit but also may move from 2025 to 2026.

Actually next year schools can have up to 15 scholarship players, so there’s that.

That’s based on the proposed House v NCAA settlement. At this point the presiding judge has refused to sign off on the settlement offer and mandated several revisions. This may take a while. This is also holding up the proposed direct payments of athletes by the schools. Mit Winter is a great follow on X to keep track of this.

As of now the 2025-26 roster doesn't have anyone taller than 6'9" or bigger than 215 lbs. We need at least 2 true centers who can play right away, including someone who has logged starter's minutes for a high-major program.

I don't think there are any uncommitted HS seniors who can start right away, at least if we are to consider ourselves a serious program.
