Does Joe Adams keep his job

I normally would say that we should give him a chance as well because he could possibly have promise, but the fact of the matter is we will have 5-6 o line recruits this class and we will need to develop a new LT next season. Someone experienced would be preferable and also someone that commands enough respect to get the spelling of his last name right lol
Thank God it is Adam. I couldnt deal with two of him

Wasn't the line at "full strength" for BC. You saw what happened there. It's not players. It's coaching. Marrone could plug in a second team light weight OT and still get fine production.

This line needs better ques on how to pick up a blitz on 3rd and long and how to open up a wide enough hole on first down so the running back can get at least 3 yards. That's not asking much and they can't even do that.

When Marrone first came in here he (wisely) did everything he could to help the offensive line out. Used wildcat liberally, put 6 or 7 on the line of scrimmage, and encouraged aggressiveness by running between the tackles every freaking first down even when everyone and their mother knew it was coming. It drove me mad. But it developed an attitude--and yards were still gained (2 here, 3 there)

I'll say it until everyone is sick of it because it should be ingrained. The o line is the lifeblood of a team. You can't pick up a blitz consistently your team is dead in the water. You can't gain 3 yards consistently on first down, your team is dead in the water. Doesn't matter if you get 5 turnovers or get 12 tackles for a loss. Ineffectiveness here affects the entire team like nothing else does.

And yes, Pat Pearles was a great coach. And his absence is the difference this season.
