Greetings from Syracuse University Athletics. We hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe.

We are reaching out today to you as an Orange football, men's or women's basketball season ticket holder to let you know that Syracuse Athletics is reviewing many potential plans for attendance at our home events this fall. We are evaluating facility plans from world-leading organizations, such as Disney and the NFL, to help us determine a plan to best serve our fans and employ the safest practices possible. The University is working closely with public health and government officials to create and deploy a public health strategy that protects and safeguards the well-being of our fans, student-athletes, and the campus and Central New York communities.

In regard to football season, at this time we are anticipating and planning for reduced capacity to some degree. As we continue to work through these important planning processes, we believe it is best that we pause our football seat upgrade and parking process. For men's and women's basketball it is simply too early to tell.

Therefore, fans are welcome to continue to renew or purchase new season tickets for all of our sports, however, we ask for your patience and understanding in the event we need to make seating adjustments to comply with COVID-19 prevention best practices.

Once we have more details and greater clarity, we will reconnect with you about next steps.

We hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe.

We are reaching out today to provide an update regarding Syracuse University men's and women's basketball season ticket renewals. At the end of May we paused our football seat upgrade and parking process. Today we are implementing the same for men's and women's basketball. In addition, we are pausing all Orange Club benefits until further notice.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Due to the many uncertainties created by the COVID-19 pandemic, Syracuse University Athletics will transition to an individual game ticket model for the 2020 football season. Football season ticket account holders will receive an email survey on Aug. 21 with details regarding the options and how to make their selection. The options include:

  1. Reinvest all or a portion of the paid funds for a 2020 season ticket purchase as a donation to the "Together 'Cuse" campaign, which supports the commitment to fulfill the athletics department's mission to provide vital services that our student-athletes need now more than ever, including academic services, student-athlete development, health & welfare programs, nutrition, strength & conditioning, sports medicine and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  2. Rollover season ticket purchase funds to the 2021 fall season, which will lock in the same price and seat location for next season.
  3. Request a refund.

Fans who do not participate in the survey before Sept. 4th will have their tickets automatically rolled over to the 2021 fall season, which locks in the same price and seat location as their 2019 season tickets.

Syracuse Athletics remains committed to doing everything it can to support and protect the health, safety and well-being of our student-athletes, our staff and the campus and Syracuse communities. All decisions will be science-based and informed by public health guidance as provided by county, state and public health officials. If fans are permitted to attend games – in some capacity – Syracuse Athletics will make individual game tickets available via an online presale two weeks before each game. Fans will be required to sit in their socially-distanced seat locations and wear a face covering. The individual game ticket online presale will be based on the following priority system:

Priority 1:
  • Season ticket holders who renewed their 2020 season tickets prior to Aug. 20.
  • Season ticket holders who have already renewed their 2020 season tickets will be given first priority. Within this priority, the order of sales will be based on their 2020 Annual Giving Level.
  • Every individual will retain their current Annual Giving Level regardless of the refund option they choose.
  • Individuals have the option to increase their Annual Giving Level and priority points by electing for the donation option prior to Sept. 4, 2020.
Priority 2:
  • 2019 football season ticket holders who did not renew for 2020.
  • 2020-21 Orange Club members who did not purchase football season tickets. Within this priority, the order of sales will be based on 2020 Annual Giving Level.
  • Individuals have the option to increase their Annual Giving Level and priority points by electing to make a donation prior to Sept. 4, 2020.
Priority 3:
  • General public
All tickets will be accessible through the MyCuse Account, our mobile ticketing platform, once a purchase is complete.

Fans are invited to learn more about their Annual Giving Level here or by calling an account representative at 888-DOME-TIX.
