Donnie and JJ back

But they make up for it in other ways :). it's all about the education there.

The University of Georgia's football team has a Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of 41%, which is the lowest in the FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision).

Here's a more detailed breakdown:
  • Low Graduation Rate:
Georgia's 41% GSR means that less than half of the football players who enter the program graduate within six years.

  • Lagging Behind Other SEC Schools:
The Bulldogs' GSR lags far behind other SEC schools, with LSU being the next closest at 69%.
That's a better rate then the 1980's when they were graduating players who couldn't read.

I'm sure it happened but I can't think of a single time an SU player fought over a pick last season. It almost looked like they were told not to and they didn't even consider it. .
Yeah, I hear you. But, there were some players who tried to fight over screens, and some who ALWAYS went under (it's never taught that way). Rewatch the FSU game from the ACCT. There was a much better effort getting over screens from most of the players. That game had a much different feel to it on defense. But the SMU game was back to what we saw most of the season.

He's a volume shooter with a hitch in his shot that can't finish layups. Really good scorer is a stretch.

He's a leading ACC scorer because we have no one else that can score.

Wonder how many of you, or if any of you, own these comments next year. Does he have any strengths you want to recognize? Strong downhill, better than average mid range game, loyal to coach and program, seems like solid and well respected teammate, was only reason cuse was close in several games, anything at all? And do you recognize that having "no one else that can score" also worked strongly to his disadvantage in some respects? Some of yall are of out your flipping mind

Looks like he was very good two years ago but had a rough time this season. Super athletic though.

He put up the good numbers at South Dakota State. I would hope this is the back up center. No real offfense to speak of, and couldn't really crack the UCLA rotation last year.

Regarding the bold point… Freeman got 8 rebounds a game on an injured foot. That would have led the team in rebounding many years. He also had a 31.2% defensive rebounds percentage, far and away the best on the team. He had double doubles in 6 of his 14 games.

I would suggest you aren’t looking at all the facts when you made this opinion.
At this point I would stand by the thought he plays more like stretch 4, Who is a very good rebounder. He’s an excellent player.

He’s not a “banger“, And rarely drove in traffic and dunked on another forward or center. Doesnt really ”attack“ the basket. Often preferred the perimeter on O. Several announcers mentioned this during the year as he drifted to the perimeter on O.

In our lineup when Donnie and Davis were in the game, Davis played the traditional 4 role.

He may become one (or maybe his foot held him back), but he is not a Warrick/Coleman/wallace/Jackson PF. He is a good scorer and rebounder, very smooth. Like his overall game. If he had those true PF skills now to go with his other skills, he would be projected top 15 in this years draft.

McCullough showed that part of his game (in just a handful of games too) but did not score like Donnie, but still went first round.

It’s not a matter of waiting to say it. It’s more so that the nonsense that was discussed on here was completely made up by posters on this board. At no point did Donnie ever say how he couldn’t wait to transfer, how he didn’t like Syracuse, how he hated playing for Red or anything of that nature. I said it game 10 that was coming back. Then he got injured. And everyone went scorched earth about he was gone and blah blah. It’s so frustrating to share information that I KNOW is true just to have posters say the complete opposite with zero factual knowledge. Misery loves company on this board and wish some info was taken differently when certain people bring it to the board.

The kid loves Syracuse, he loves Red and him coming back should help curb some stupid narratives around here. Go orange
Great post. “Donnie’s NOT coming back!!!”

Up there with classics like “Mccord‘s not playing in the bowl game”, there are spider eggs in Bubble Yum, Mikey from life cereal died from eating Pop Rocks and Coke, and Rod Stewart had his stomach pumped from……..

If we make the tournament, sure, I'll own these comments.

He is the epitome of a losing player. Would love to be proved wrong but he doesn't play hard on D and his hero ball cost us winnable games this year.

Taylor did a few times. I was shocked to see it.

I guess we all epitomize something

He was also injured early in the year.

Glad to have both of them back, and that this was crossed off early instead of making us wait on pins and needles, assuming we don't get a Lampkin situation.
right. i'll believe it in september not march .

Some of us want to hold the team to the standard we used to hold them to.
i mean we've sat by and watched the metamorphosis from a team that was great and occasionally bad to team which was ok and occasionally great to a team that's now just plain bad.

Some of us want to hold the team to the standard we used to hold them to.

The most humerous part of this board are those who feel like they are positively impacting the program by not settling like the rest of us born losers. Thanks for all you do.

Good question. I guess the paper will have to explain but they need to be careful not to throw the University under the bus. By the way, this doesn't mean that he isn't coming back. Only that he hasn't decided yet

Looks like Donna said Pete Moore gave her bad info on Petar staying and then recanted it later...

"SU AD's Director of Communications Pete Moore initially said this morning that Majstorovic planned to play another year in Syracuse."
