Donnie Freeman Injury Updates (Not Out)

Las Vegas - Donnie Freeman is officially out for the Players Era Festival, Syracuse spokesman Pete Moore said Monday.

Freeman, SU’s star sophomore forward, is unavailable to play this week because of an unspecified lower body injury. He is here in Las Vegas and will be reevaluated when the team returns to Syracuse later this week. The hope is that this is not a season-ending injury and that Freeman will heal through rehabilitation and return to the team.

The injury, said Moore, is not related to the foot fracture Freeman sustained last winter and recovered from. He was injured during last week’s Monmouth game in the JMA Wireless Dome and wore a medical walking boot for about 24 hours after the issue surfaced.

He’s worn it on occasion since, Moore said, but has not continually needed the boot to get around.

"The hope is that this is not a season-ending injury" Kiss of Fn death.

Brutal

It’s insane how often we have to play the what if games with our football and basketball team. He knew something wasn’t right when he came down awkwardly in 2h of Monmouth game. It was apparent he got hurt. He was moving so well too first 3 games. Feel bad for him and the team and us

I keep thinking about a hedge where he looked like he got shot out of a cannon. He got called for a foul, but I didn't know he could move like that. He definitely didn't move like that last game.

Did Notre Dame just score again?
The next most important thing now is for ND to actually make Kansas work which it

Being short handed and then Kansas getting to play walkons down the stretch today is a recipe for disaster tomorrow. Not because I think Kansas is some powerhouse, it’s just minutes. The way we want to play we gotta be more rested than the other team.
