The university must sponsor a certain number of sports.

Sponsor = fully funded.

Otherwise, you're looking at a bunch of non-funded club sports.

I don't see any CC/TF or Hockey players being shorted.

The entire Tennis and Volleyball teams are on full scholarships.

If you can run, or row a boat, it's a great way to get an education.

You must participate in a minimum number of men's and women's sports to maintain your ACC membership.

Or any conference membership for that matter.

If schools have to pay players directly, we won’t be the only institution looking to shed some non revenue sports.
