The game of the year in college hoops is not UNC Kentucky ... I really don't think either team is overly impressive ... the game of the year will be one of the games we have vs UCONN in Feb. By then UCONN will be clicking with Drummond, and hopefully Oriakhi back to form down low. And our young guys(Fab, Dion, CJ) will only get better and be more of a compliment to our veterans.

It's all media hype. However, UK is really really good. Have seen more of them this season. Wish they weren't. But yes, SU-UConn will be big.

Have you seen UK play much this year? Yes, they are young and inexperienced, but believe me they are really good. Doesn't mean they will win NC, but I always thought that if they don't do it this year, forget about it anytime else. Later this year, their frosh plus the 2 sophs (Lamb and Jones) they have and Darius Miller will be really really good. I root against them every game, but know what I see.

Anthony Davis is a complete player who almost clicked for a triple double against St Johns 15 points, 15 reb and 8 blks. Kentucky is (on paper) by far the best team in CBB. They can be beat though and I think we could do it. The zone is a great weapon to have against a young team like that. And like you, I hate them too. Can't stomach Calamari.

Agreed. I worry about scoring against them. We would have to be really hot from outside. They have length too. Davis and Jennings are deterrents down low. I just think it would tough running our stuff against them. Defensively I think we could contain them but I worry about our offense.

I hate to say it, but UNC, UK, and Ohio State are all very legit. Watch these teams play. Right now, they are better than Syracuse. The SU-UConn games will be awesome matchups no doubt, but UNC-UK is one of the biggest non-conference matchups in recent years.
