Maryland has 6 wins and beat Penn State on the road.

Those aren't bad teams, but they are two games we needed to - and should have - won.

NC State hadn't won an ACC game in two years until Saturday. Beating up on low-level FCS teams to get wins early in the season doesn't make you a good team.

NC State is terrible...you might not pay much attention to them being up in New York, but down in North Carolina their futility has been pretty regularly covered. Going two years without winning an ACC game is pretty bad. Until yesterday, their only wins this season had come against Georgia Southern, Presbyterian, South Florida, and Old Dominion.

As far as Duke goes, naturally I hate Dook but I have to say I do respect their football program. Cut is a class act and what he has done in Durham is nothing short of incredible. That said, I will be cheering hard for the Orange come gametime.

I watched a lot of the Dook-Pitt game. Dook's got a really nice offense. QB is really good and got a stud WR. They will put up some points against us, on the other hand their D didn't look good against Pitt. Let's hope we get some OL back and we have a slight chance of an upset, but I'm not holding my breath.

I fear this is the week the defense implodes. There going to have a 'this is hopeless' moment at some point, it's inevitable. And the wrong offensive mind is coming to town to possibly exploit that. And he's bringing the worst possible WR. Anytime he's lined up against Whigham we should just call timeout. Even when we've run out, didn't stop us before.

Do you know how much $ I've lost this year betting on my teams? Betting on the Giants is terrible, betting on Syracuse football is terrible. At least the Heat have covered their games so far this year. My fanhood can't be questioned, but my wallet wouldn't mind getting a boost.
