I honestly think Rutgers is foolish to rush this decision as they have. How can you legitimately go through the hiring process in less than a week? If they loose a recruit or 2, so be it, but getting the right successor to Schiano is way more important IMO.

IMO Flood keeps the class together but Cristobal is better long term for the program.

I think either keeps the class together and believe Cristobal is better long term, the question is how long term is Cristobal.

I'm more curious to see what Cristobal would do with the assistants - either this year or next.

I think if Flood ends up getting shafted he might be a good coach to pick up - he's the guy the Jersey coaches are supporting.

I don't think there is much doubt that they are waiting to see what happens with the situation, if Flood doesn't get the job, I would think he leaves. If Flood does get the job, I don't know if any assistants leave.

If it's Cristobal then I would understand him leaving for a "bigger" job but he's just as bad as Schiano for leaving those kids in bad spot.

After next year its unikely we will ever play them again ... in almost any sport. Our dance card will be filled with out new ACC brethren.

Honestly don't remember saying "when". Only remember say there would be a bombshell (my choice of adjective) and I still believe that, in fact there could be 2 whatever adjective you want to use, bombshell, shocker, surprise, etc. One I believe has been decided upon and in "place" while the other may still happen. I'm not talking about the guy someone found in the directory. But I seriously don't remember (I am sure someone will search) saying it would be announce today, tomorrow, this week etc. It looks like Doug will wait until after LOI like he did last year. Why he waits I don't now but it's his preference I guess.
