Draft Theoretical: Malachi vs Selden

Im definitely biased towards Richardson, but I have seen Selden play and followed him since Syracuse was recruiting him, I would go with Richardson. I think hes a better shooter and would find more ways to score in the NBA. I forgot who made the comparison on this board but Richardson reminds me of a JR Smith type player, who can go on hot streaks.

Malachi is basically Jeremy Lamb with less athleticism and way more aggression and confidence.

I'd go with Richardson. I've seen a ton of both teams this year. Both struggled with inconsistency at times but Mal is an inconsistent doing it and Selden is a junior. Selden has gotten better at KU but still not as good as he was projected.

Selden is a beast, a manchild, strong like bull. Reminds me of Lance Stephenson. Mali is more like JR Smith, I like that comparison. 2 jersey boys with a scoring flair. Hopefully he is a more consistent JR without the headaches too. Close call, I'd take the shot on Mali.

Selden reminds me of Dion, but seems like a better shooter with probably a slightly worse handle

Tough call. Seldon had a pretty good year this year, something I think Mali can replicate.

Mali from the field % just isn't that good and had looked completely lost at times.

As of right now I probably take Seldon but it's close, real close. I'll probably look like a fool in a year from now with my choice but Mali needs to show more.
