Depending on how much time you have, you can't go wrong with either the Reading Terminal Market or the South 9th Street Italian Market. Tons of great food options at both.

It's hard to believe that this is our first game in Philly since that heartbreaking collapse against Nova in the 2014-15 season. I think I went to every SU/Nova game in Philly from the mid-2000s to the mid-2010s.

Is there any buzz here for this game? Who's going?

After watching "Mob War: Philadelphia vs. The Mafia" on Netflix I think I want to check out Skinny Joey's Cheesesteaks near the arena after the game.

My first in-person Cuse game was the Conrad McRae experience in high school just after I was accepted to su. What a sight.

No midweek games this week is not cool. Even last year I tuned in for the trainwrecks every Tuesday.

1986-1987.

Season started at the very end of November... and ended by March 1. We have a stretch in there with a game on Saturday, Monday, Thursday, Sunday--4 games in 8 days.

I had some great Georgia (the country) dumplings at Reading Terminal a few years back. Phenomenal food and place.

Syracuse's game against Drexel marks the Orange's first trip to Philly since 2014 and its first road game against an unranked team from a non-Power Five conference since 2006.

Buffalo and Philadelphia are both sites of first- and second-round games in the 2026 NCAA Tournament.

Syracuse coach Adrian Autry confirmed that the designation as an NCAA Tournament site was a factor in scheduling both games in his post-game press conference following the Buffalo game.

“It definitely did. That’s the plan, you know,” Autry said. “I just felt like it’s something that sends a good message to our team and our fans that, hey, this is what we’re trying to do.”

In a conversation earlier this week, Autry revisited the reasons behind playing Drexel and Buffalo away from home.

Was he being a bit ambitious in scheduling these games? After all, Syracuse has gone four years without earning an NCAA Tournament bid.

“Ambitious is one way to describe it, but there’s nothing wrong with that,” Autry said. “The fact that the NCAA Tournament will be in those arenas, yeah, those are arenas we want to play in.

“But that was just part of it,” he added. “There are other reasons as well.”

I so badly want Autry to be the long term coach. He’s shown with the right backing and organization he can bring in high level talent. The results on the floor the next 3 weeks will make or break him.
