The question is whether Collins could be a decent QB, and there's reason to question that now, but that doesn't mean he wasn't doing the job in spring practice. We've had worse QBs for sure. DeVito had ups and downs, too. This kid isn't DeVito, but both of them looked scared back there after a while. Not yet Andrew Robinson level dysfunction, but that's real. I was a QB and kick returner; I got my butt kicked by much bigger guys many, many times. Certain games, you can get gun-shy. It's just human nature. He's been poor, but hopefully he grows from this. Even DeVito eventually made it to the NFL. You never know.
