Yes, of course he's a better prospect; he led a Notre Dame drive in a college playoff game.
The question is whether Collins could be a decent QB, and there's reason to question that now, but that doesn't mean he wasn't doing the job in spring practice. We've had worse QBs for sure. DeVito had ups and downs, too. This kid isn't DeVito, but both of them looked scared back there after a while. Not yet Andrew Robinson level dysfunction, but that's real. I was a QB and kick returner; I got my butt kicked by much bigger guys many, many times. Certain games, you can get gun-shy. It's just human nature. He's been poor, but hopefully he grows from this. Even DeVito eventually made it to the NFL. You never know.

100% dudes career isn't over but it's clear today he's in over his head. It happens. I fully expected it from what I heard. See how he responds next week. The phantom fumbles though have to go

Yasin is our most important and best player on offense. We need to run to set up the pass, and play action should be integral. Collins has a strong arm, we need to challenge opponents to either put 8 in the box and risk the PA deep ball, or give Yasin a 7 man box. Rickie also needs to be put on the move outside the pocket to simplify decision making, and they need to coach him to run more. Then mix in some RPOs.

Our best defense is the Duke offense’s discipline. I will take it on this drive. Need to see something out of the O. I’d take a down field shot to JRS at some point
