Agree -- I found that game extremely gratifying. Loved the hustle by Va Tech (despite it being their 4th game in 4 days), and watching Hunter Cattoor go off against them was a thing of beauty (after scoring 3, 6, and 9 the first three games).

He was abused on switches.
No chance he is a first round pick.

He would be perfect in the middle of a zone. He can’t defend man to man switches and all Duke does is switch pick and rolls.

Duke‘s young players aren’t handling the end of Coach K’s tour. They may be putting too much pressure on themselves. You could see it on Coach K’s face at the end of the game. You could see Coach K trying to support them at the end of the game.

Depends on matchups. Duke can’t defend speedy PGs.
Their man to man defense ball pressure isn’t good.

They aren’t winning the NC for sure.
Too flawed defensively. Speed will beat them.

It’s why we are bad matchup against them. We lack speed so they can clamp us down. Torrence helped against them for that reason he made us faster and Jimmy, Joe and Cole made a lot of tough shots
