I believe that clause is exclusive to Shady poachings only.Would it be unusual to include a clause that includes a throat punch to the offending head coach?

Exactly. The schools are going to cry and moan and cave because they know - the players aren't the lowlifes here. They really don't want to go to court and Duke as a school knows that. You go to court and the entire falsehood of Student Athlete is gone and here comes the Government, State and Federal for the tax dollars that the schools haven't had to pay for years.
You really believe these schools are all losing money, you must be living in a different world then the rest of us. Maybe the other sports are school losses but most schools make money on football.Taxes on what?
Poor job at deflection. Schools are nonprofits. Football programs are not stand alone institutions, they are part of the athletic department. You really believe these schools are all losing money, you must be living in a different world than the rest of us. Maybe the other sports are school losses but most schools make money on football.
But some say Duke has his NIL rights by contract.
You're not wrong, it's insensitive and I don't know anyone personally affected. Not even remotely funny. Must be nice to live in a bubble where no one you know has been affected by this.
The NCAA is supposed to restrict athlete earnings?Lmao making more than most NFL players????? Good stuff. Really good work here by the NCAA.
