If he goes to Miami, swap that scenario for the Duke defense giving him some extra love when they play this year. And well deserved.

Quite seriously wondering how ugly that game would be. Maybe a wake-up call to the powers that be to do something.

Duke quarterback Darian Mensah has entered the Transfer Portal, but there are still quite a few legal roadblocks on his path to Miami.

Mensah can play for Miami with 0 NIL until Dec 31, 2026. Then, Miami just agrees to pay him 10M NIL on Jan 1, 2027. Problem solved.

Miami gets its QB. Mensah breaks no contract with Duke. Miami won’t care that it can’t use him for advertising or pay him during the season. They’ll just use someone else.
