Dungey is gonna explode Saturday

Have you ever been right about anything?
You can’t tell me you thought ED wouldvplsyblikevthat after his performance last week, That was the best he’s thrown all year and I give Dino and ED all the credithe was the an yesterfay we needed against Clemson and Pitt we win both games by double digits

This whole QB controversy thing will do nothing but motivate him. We’ve been watching this dude for going on 4 years now. How the hell does everybody not know this? I LOVE Devito and could not be more excited to have him now and the next few years but I’m still amazed how quick people jump off on great players. One of our greatest QB’s ever to play here and fans and local media talk about him like he is Nate Peterman or Blake Bortles.
See you guys back here around 10:45 Saturday night to gloat.

Sage.

Just admit you were wrong and move on.

i will say, after the fact of course - all pre game and all 1st quarter i said "he is the perfect guy for a coach to put in the corner and say "fight your way out or dont" because he is going to fight his way out.

You get the Oracle of the Season Award. What say you this week old trusty sage?

Love dungey

An All time great... seriously though. That might put people off, but when you dig into it, how can you argue it?

Dungey was nicked up. We all saw him hang his shoulder on the way out of bounds a few games back, so it's no surprise that he had more incompletions and accuracy issues than normal. This was noticeable IMO because: a) we're used to seeing him make those throws; and 2) the analog - DeVito - is such a talented pure passer that he highlighted Dungey's injury issues.

But I saw little, if any, vestiges of it against NC St. In warmups (sleeveless without his pads) he had lost the shoulder tape. He was throwing effortlessly over a variety of distances. The on-field performance was the same: 1) he threw for his second-highest career total; 2) he had a bunch of completions that would have been almost impossible with an injury, including threading the needle to Riley across the middle on multiple occasions; 3) a couple touch passes to the boundary that he couldn't complete the last few games; and 4) he made several long throws - one right in the bucket to Johnson that traveled 40+ yards - that were as good, maybe better, than I've ever seen him put up. So whatever was going on (and there was something), I didn't see much evidence of it Saturday.
