That's what makes Dungey so much like Hurley. Imagine having that kind of talent, yet finishing 3-8 because the leader wasn't there.

This is so 1978, with Bill Hurley being our everything. That didn't end well, though.

Funny that you mentioned 78.

As I watched the second half last night, I kept thinking that this team reminds me of the 79 team: dynamic offense that could score points in bunches but couldn’t stop anybody.

Hopefully, defense improves and Dungey stays healthy. If so, will be a fun season.

And could end like 79 did with a Bowl game after a dry spell.
