I’m not saying he doesn’t have an owie but all athletes shake their arm after a bad throw it’s kind of a natural thing to do.he is still injured. what ever it is he still shakes his arm mid game for some reason.
You benching 405 now. They gave him the good kind of HGH last week. It worked fast.
Absolutely. 2nd half of Clemson and pretty much the entire Pitt game he looked tentative, indecisive in the extreme. Ball came out late and he looked like he did not want to throw the ball down field. There was also that stretch in the 2nd quarter where he put several balls in the dirt on short throws to the flat. You really didn't see any difference in Dungey's throwing between those 2 games?
I use tape in my retirement community shuffleboard league...the chicks dig itdo you put the tape on your shoulder if you have no issues?
There was no injury. SU fans needed an excuse for a QB playing poorly. He was struggling with technique and confidence. (As he had previous seasons) Coach showed him the whip and he worked hard to concentrate more on his throwing technique and tuned into playing smart. Hope it continues.
If he can play 80% of how he played last week to go along with no turnovers we have another 2-3 wins under our belt.sometimes adrenaline (and playing for your job) can mask some things.
Well I will tell u he launched some balls sat. I was shocked and good for him. He was especially threading needles on some of those passes.I’m not saying he doesn’t have an owie but all athletes shake their arm after a bad throw it’s kind of a natural thing to do.
I honestly thought he was hurt enough to not wanna throw the ball. But damn I was wrong. The pervasive thread through nearly everyone's laments were that Dungey was injured and thus incapable of playing well.
Win against NC State...nothing. I don't see anyone saying this anymore.
What happened? Miraculous recovery? Did he take one of those vodka-collagen recovery baths? Did Syracuse hire a voodoo witch-doctor who is now on staff?
Somebody. Throw me a bone here.
There are so many people willing to make pronouncements like this that I can't tell if any of them are based on real knowledge. Does anyone here know the facts? If so, please say so.He’s absolutely been injured all season and remains so. He’ll be injured the rest of the season when they then decide what to do next.
ding ding ding, exactly. Been teaching orthopedics nearly 30 years now that's my best educated guess too and that's my take as well for quite some time now:Shy tore his labrum camp sophomore year he played all season... some times he would get hit and his arm would go limp. He would be out for the next play in pain but able to go. Some days it wouldn’t hurt at all until he moved a certain way or got hit a certain way
You just can't state that as fact without any reference to its authenticity. If you have information please reference it. Why is he playing if he's injured, how is he playing so well? how is he taking so many hard shots? How is he playing so well? Why hasn't Coach Babers continually said he's not injured? Please elaborate if you have information. He’s absolutely been injured all season and remains so. He’ll be injured the rest of the season when they then decide what to do next.
fairly sure Babers hasn't said he's not injured just that the medical staff clears him or anyone to play with certain "owie" type injuries. You just can't state that as fact without any reference to its authenticity. No.
i could be waaay off base but i never thought he was. i felt he was out of control. trying to do to much w/o his teamWe have a number of contributors who have the extraordinary ability to detect and diagnose injuries through their TV screens.
Once the real or imagined injury is reported, we then have a host of medical experts chiming in based on their own experiences or of their second cousin's.
There are , of course, contributors on here that really do know what they are talking about when it comes to these injuries, their treatment and the likely impact on player availability. But it's all based on whether the player is actually injured and the extent of that injury.
Dungey's performance against NCSU suggests very strongly he wasn't injured previously or if so, it was so minor that by last Saturday he was healed.
What you will never read on here is, "Gee, I'm sorry. I must have been wrong about the extent of that player's injuries and the likely impact on the player's availability and/or performance".
sorry the first line sounds like a late afternoon or late night infomercialHas nobody ever had joint issues that feel better sometimes and worse other times?
Possible that it’s overall getting better and he had a good day with it Saturday, as good days become more common as it heals?
Just a thought.
He has been injured. I wont share my source but it is solid. I dont know the extent of it and cant explain the drastic improvement against NCS but he has been hurt. The pervasive thread through nearly everyone's laments were that Dungey was injured and thus incapable of playing well.
