Dungey's incomplete pass for a touchdown

I thought ruling it a fumble was the right call. It should always be ruled that way if it's close. However, after replay, it clearly wasn't a fumble. In my opinion he had control moving forward with his throwing motion before it came loose.

Be prepared because I can almost guarantee we will be on the opposite side of that situation sometime this year and it will be called an incomplete pass.

One things for sure: Dungey loses the ball a lot for some reason.

We should steel ourselves to 1 or 2 of these plays per game going forward.

Educate the team to play through the whistle

Playing through the whistle on that wouldn't have made a difference. There were only two players within 20 yards of the ball - the UVA guy who picked it up and ran it in and the SU receiver, who was 10 yards away and moving in the opposite direction. No one would have come close to him in any case. It's not like he ran 80 yards - it was 32 yards. Watch the replay again and you will see. Turn the volume off because the idiot color commentator kept repeating that "you have to complete the play", blah, blah, blah, yet he failed to recognize that there was no one around who could have done anything anyway.

Oh, I agree, I wasn't being critical of that play in particular, I just mean in general they should practice it
