Also this has been the norm with coaching changes across the country. Very few kids stay in the portal era when a coach is fired.

I give up getting excited about anything over the long term. This environment we’re currently in sucks for getting excited about the future. I’m 100% in the moment and don’t even think about player development.

At this point, whatever, I’ll check out a few games due to the GMac buzz but I’m nowhere near emotionally invested I once was.

I mean very few players stay even when the coach isn't fired. To blame these departures on GMAC is another level of idiocy. These kids want to get paid and as everyone knows the best way to get a raise is to switch employers. Sadly there is a decent percentage of these kids who won't find a new employer and won't get paid.

Why is it sad if some do not get paid? They want to play that game and there will be winners and losers but no guarantees except for a select few. The grass is not always greener.
