Easily their worst stretch

Georgetown played solid D, Waiters still looks really off, he needs to break out this this slump. But KJ played awesome, so did Fab. Once we can start rebounding and Waiters gets going again, we're going to be very good

Nobody but KJo were really shooting tonight. Triche looked like he may have found his stroke in the 2nd half, but ended up sitting for most of it.
Fair was having an off shooting night tonight as well and seemed to lack intensity at time.
We got into a tight game and it seems like Coach B forgot about the deep bench he has.
Still, guess he knows what he's doing since we did squeak out the win

Come on seriously? Why is it so hard to give the other team some credit? G'Town played a GREAT game.

Offense:
-Got the ball in the middle of the zone
-Looked for the cutter from the entry pass to the middle of the zone
-Entry passes from the top of the key to big men SEALING in the post
-Ball in the middle of the zone---->look opposite
-Swung the ball and reversed it exceptionally well

Defense:
-Aggressive M2M
-Did not allow dribble penetration

This was an excellent basketball and both teams deserve a lot of credit.

I don't mean to take ANYTHING away from GTown.

I was referring specifically to the last 4 mins of the 2nd half. I've never seen them look like they didn't know what was happening up to that point of the season.

This game was awesome to watch. I was on the edge from start to finish, and really only found myself noticing the officials only a few times. KJo stepped up, and he's been stepping up for a couple weeks now.

Tight wins bode well for March, and KJo emerging would a difference maker.

Stall ball baby, gotta love it. Up 10 with 4 minutes, stall ball. Up 4? PLEASE GOD NO!!!

I don't second guess JB often, but I am a realist when it comes to any critique of him. I really didn't understand, and you could tell even Bobby Knight didn't understand it.

This thread applies to the coach in that case as well.

But some of the decisions made directly AFTER TOs during that horrible four minute stretch were inexcusable. Same with the rebounding obviously as JB stated.

Georgetown played well. We got lucky that they missed some point blank ones right at the rim after some guys went right around Fab. First H was all about lack of effort. Lots of standing around watching GTown get rebounds. A better offensive team would've blitzed us probably beyond repair.

OK, that makes a little more sense. I guess it wasn't clear to me you were talking about the final four minutes. The final four minutes, offensively, were atrocious. However, we are not a very good half court team regardless of what people want to believe. Hubert Davis and the other talking heads could save themselves some grief quite easily: Instead of saying we do not have a "go-to" scorer (which is not entirely inaccurate), they should be saying we are pretty half court team."

Look, we all know it starts with transition for this team just like it did tonight. We took momentum and extended a lead with a BT pull up three in transition. The game went to OT because we didn't rebound and get out in transition.
