It's a new world for a lot of people. Back in the day (not that long ago) people could sweep stupidity under the rug if they chose to. Now Social Media (which I capitalized on purpose) has changed so many things. We know no one is perfect, but what might have been "allowed" previously now has a different set of rules.
That being said, of course people need to be held accountable, but where do you draw the line. Does Pernetti take the fall also because of a management decision he made four months ago. What hurts him is that he works for a state university. The AD could make one decision, the chancellor could make one decision and the governor could come back and say you two are now unemployed.
