Its amazing to me what the "Powers that be" will let go until the Media goes public with the story.

Hill, Rush, who knows what else...? If what they did was bad enough to fire them, why did you wait until the Media forces your hand?

It's a new world for a lot of people. Back in the day (not that long ago) people could sweep stupidity under the rug if they chose to. Now Social Media (which I capitalized on purpose) has changed so many things. We know no one is perfect, but what might have been "allowed" previously now has a different set of rules.

That being said, of course people need to be held accountable, but where do you draw the line. Does Pernetti take the fall also because of a management decision he made four months ago. What hurts him is that he works for a state university. The AD could make one decision, the chancellor could make one decision and the governor could come back and say you two are now unemployed.
