Wonder if he just wants to get on the field right away and play. He can always transfer up after that, though, if you're a good wide out, you'll get drafted from anywhere.

I think you have to have a somewhat competent qb in order to get drafted. I'm not sure Jaxon Smith-Njigba would be drafted if he had to play with the qbs we saw here the last 8 games of the season.

That's what I thought but then remembered he had limited footage and had injuries both years. It's like taking a one year deal as a professional athlete -- probably limited NIL but gets chance to play, family can watch him and he can cash in a year from now. He's a great kid -- will be pulling for him personally (except when he plays us).

Was keeping an eye on him and Hornsby to see where they end up. It doesn't sound like Cook has landed yet, either.

Didn’t hurt Skyler Bell … now Fagnano is gone but if Cande can replace him Ross can get noticed.
