Somewhat of a trend now that the Dino guys that stayed are entering? I know it’s been said that this offseason the expectations were going to get higher and the workouts were going to get tougher. Hopefully their replacements are more suited to handle the higher day to day expectations.

Pretty much agree, but the other kid besides Cruz that is apparently going for sure is a Fran kid.

I’ll be honest, I was shocked this didn’t come sooner.

Have to applaud him for staying through spring and seeing if he could fight for a starting role.

Would assume today is the day of talks with Coach Brown and he probably saw that he wasn’t getting a starting spot.

Can’t blame him, senior year and he wants to play at least one more year.

This is one I truly wish the best for and I hope he can find a spot to play and I will be rooting him on hard wherever he goes.

A tremendous student athlete.

Can’t reveal anything except it kinda sucks

Just talked with him. Has nothing to do with money, just wants to play his final year. Coach Williams said he would be ranking all of the offensive linemen from first to last and apparently he did not see a road to regular playing time in the fall. Sat all of last year after being on the field almost every play the year before but he remained all in on Fran and the program.

Stressed repeatedly how much he appreciated everything we’ve done did for him and said it made things so much easier for him and his family.

We’ll have dinner together sometime before graduation and say our goodbyes. We could not have hoped for a better partner in our first foray into the NIL world. Enrique is an outstanding young man who will be successful whatever life holds for him and will always be a fine ambassador for Syracuse University. Nothing but love for him and his wonderful family!

Great young man. He is good enough to start at some P4 programs. I don’t blame him for wanting to start.

He was one of our best OL early in his career. The talent level just got better and better and he was left out.

Hope wherever he ends up (it surely will be close to Chicago), ge gets a chance to start all season.

Might have a chance to play a home game or two in Wrigley, home of his beloved Cubbies.

Enrique will receive his degree...best of luck to him. I think he'd love to go to Northwestern but realistically his best chance to play might be a school like NIU or WMU.
