I found it interesting that the Pitt loss as a 7 pt favorite has them as a bounce back team.. they remove the 2 big plays and decided the pitt D played well in the loss, and that Iowa was not a bad as they thought just because they lost to Iowa state.. And also that pitt outgained Iowa. good logic, lets apply it SU

Iowa struggled against Ball st who got beat by Toledo
Pitt when you remove the 2 big TD plays allowed 205 yds 4.6 per play
Su when you remove the 2 big TD plays allowed 254 and 4.5 per play

Maryland lost to WV who played well against Alabama and OK
Pitt out gained iowa by 124
SU out gained Maryland by 220

Pitt also dominated BC the week before BC dominated USC who dominated Stanford...so while all of that means nothing, it gives the impression that Pitt is better than what they showed vs Iowa.
