This guy throws a baseball about as hard and fast as almost anyone yey he gets hit far too much. OK someone earlier said his ball is too straight. OK I agree now.
Larry Rothschild needs to work with this guy in developing a hard slider that dives and slides at the right time. That or a splitter which might be even better for this pitcher given his strength. I'm presuming his fingers are long enough get the proper grip for the splitter.When thrown correctly it can give you that downward action left or right much like a screw ball without the shoulder stress. A true slider is just as important for sure
