Again... is this a real thing or a situation cooked up by a bunch of board curmudgeons who want to be miserable.I mean I love Babers. And he’s absolutely the right guy for the program. But he’s 8-11 and if the thought is now is when he can hold the BOT hostage, I think he’s miscalculated.
Damn...thank you Mr Nick44. Well said.No problem. A list that needs to be on PAR with the average top 25 program. Not Bama or even division member Clemson, an average top 25 team. Here you go -
- A raise
- A larger recruiting budget.
- A bigger budget to pay current staff and to hire larger support staff. (Dino actually commented on this yesterday.)
- Commitment to better facilities which includes the Dome renovations.
Obviously it’s unreasonable to have all this provided immediately but the “evidence” is the commitment from the BOT. We may think this is excessive but it is currently what the other top 25 programs are investing. If he can’t get that kind of support here, then he will find an SEC or PAC-12 school who will.

Is it wrong to be proactive? What we saw yesterday was as good of a sign as you are going to see that Dino is a great fit for Syracuse.Again... is this a real thing or a situation cooked up by a bunch of board curmudgeons who want to be miserable.

No. No he doesn't.

If only Eric Dungey could stay for 14 years...he means more to the Syracuse brand than Babers
How much they love Coach Babers. How much value he adds to the Syracuse brand. How willing you'll be to renew, or purchase season tickets. How much pride he gives you in Syracuse football. Let him hear it.
Breaking news: John already knew this.
Turn your energies to the fans/student that don't go to games against Pitt and do go to Clemson to come each game.
And take a note who the AD was hosting last night and hope his guest doesn't steal the coach like the organization has before.
I saw John with Pegula too. At first from a distance I thought it was Syverud but then realized it was Pegula. Dino has steadfastly said he has no interest in the NFL as he loves working with college kids and making a difference in their lives.
Maybe we're trying to hit up Pegula for some $$$$?![]()
As far as the Pegulas...check the pay side.
He actually returned my email. Said thanks for the letter of support, and that he hopes Dino is our coach for a very long time.I just sent him an e-mail and donated money.
Pegula Stadium. I like it.
FYI, Kim Pegula's adopted dad got his doctorate from SU and her son is a freshman at SU, so there for Parents Weekend.
