Since Vince took over as DC toledo has put 5 defensive players in the league. Including a first round CB in Quinyon Mitchell who is one of the best CBs in the NFL right now. They’ve had some dudes on the defensive side of the ball.

Exactly. The NFL draft isn't all power conference players. We probably don't want the entire Toledo defense but they have to have some good players to put up those numbers.

Yeah it would be horrible idea to bring over some of the players from Toledo that are on the path to the NFL that this defense has produced in the past at Toledo.

Quinyon Mitchell, 1st round CB for the Eagles last year. Darius Alexander, 3rd round DT for the Giants this year. Starting safety this year is going to the Senior Bowl.

Good players with bad coaching equals inconsistent but meh results

Bad players with good coach equals inconsistently average results with good results if low competition

Good players and good coaching equals good results consistently no matter the competition

Gets the best players with the best coaching and sky’s the limit
