Maybe..but firing Bernie was a no brainer now...JB's fate may require a bit more thought and discussion. No inside info...just speculating like everybody else

I have this suspicion, based on nothing more than experience and speculation, that someone well placed in the law enforcement investigation gave SU a heads-up that a real smoking gun (bad choice of words on my part) has been found. The type of thing that made letting BF go a no-brainer.

I also think JB is a separate matter. I remain firmly in the camp of "no way you fire based upon what is know to the public at this time", but I recognize the possibility that the same heads-up might include additional information going beyond BF. Having said that, I do agree that if this was the case, JB and BF get chucked over the side at the same time.
