Fab appeal hearing?

Ha, no, I was a big fan of Wallace growing up. It was exciting to meet Paul too, but much moreso for Wallace.

ohhh I see I forgot a word up there. Fixed. and Paul did pinch me, I didn't want to tell anyone

not sure why he is a clown because he was at chucks last night... he is 21.

gmac was a frequent chucks visitor, melo was at konrads all the time.

He's a clown because he's shown this year that he doesn't give a rat's ass about being academically eligible. As a student athlete, you have two requirements not to be a total up. Play hard, and pass classes so you don't HURT YOUR TEAM.

If his Syracuse basketball career's over, he should Adios of Syracuse. Just leave. See yah. Because if he's not playing or going to class, he shouldn't be here.

I think we should all reserve judgement until the facts come out... but due to the fact there are student privacy laws, we may never know :noidea:

I'm going with: The fencing instructor is a UK grad. Failed Fab for effort and refused to change grade.

Maybe JB is the first coach to hide a player for the first few games of the ncaa touranement on purpose.
Good game strategy. It will surely build momentum.
:D

I find it astonishing that there is no media coverage of Fab's appeal hearing! Does anyone else find that surprising or is it just me? I wonder if Jimmy B. has somehow managed to keep it under wraps and we are going to get a double bonus super good news day on Wednesday when there will be a dual announcement that Fab has been re- reinstanted and Nerlens Noel is going to commit to Syracuse. I mean... that's got to be it, right?

They might not be publicizing it because the likelihood of a reinstatement is less than 50/50, & JB doesn't want people to get their hopes up...

OR

There IS no appeal hearing, & this is another hyped up rumor...

There IS no appeal hearing, & this is another hyped up rumor...

Of Fab is going to apply for the NBA Draft, why is he still in Syracuse? Wouldn't he drop out of class and move away since his season is done? Or maybe he isn't done at Syracuse...

Where would he go? and why would he leave? He is still getting free room & board where all his friends are. Wonder if he still has access to the Melo center. If I was about to enter the draft and access to a place like that I'd be there 10 hours a day.

Well this could go a number of ways, like mentioned he's got a free pad and stuff so why not hang out and enjoy the college life a little longer and not have to go to class...

or

the optimist in me is thinking maybe he and Boeheim had little heart to heart about finishing out semester (even if not in good academic standing) being able to train at Melo center, etc do what is needed to prepare for the draft but also stay in school and not totally kill our APR (maybe get 1 of 2 pts at least out of him). Maybe this is part of why Boeheim was saying he didn't let team down etc (kissing a little butt trying to make sure he finishes semester). In the press conference Boeheim was saying how he does everything he can to make sure a player stays and finishes school work but it is kind of selfish of him (Boeheim) to try to get them to do that versus get more specialized training elsewhere, but this is more of a situation where Melo could hurt the team in more ways than one (this year and future yr's) so by finishing school year it would be the stand up thing to do and at least partially make up for him being ineligible. Just a thought but who knows...

didn't fab tweet that he was bummed about letting team down and school get away from him and promised to be back next year to get his academics in order and play?

I know.. that doesn't mean much - Jonny Flyn said he'd be back and wasn't, but...
