The stupid “made you look” game that we did countless times.

Apparently we were just displaying our white power the whole time?

I wish this country had a reset button. Press in case of emergency.
The kids know that people will be looking for themselves, zooming in. It's a perfect made you look.

This conversation is absurd, yet typical this day in age. Making something out of nothing.
Are they racist?

I’m 27 and went to school in upstate New York and can remember kids doing that and then punching the first kid that looks in the arm. It was a game then and I’m sure it’s still a game now. Not everything in this world is racist.

You’re pasting a typical response that trolls love to use. Again, right wing trolls. By all means, own it. There’s a reason the right pushes these defenses instead of actually talking about policies. Make it about a culture war or a he said, she said battle than talking about what’s actually going on.
I’m sure the Trump policies benefitting low and middle class Americans are going to kick in any day now, right? And not just continued race baiting for the base around keeping out people who look different or sending them back home.

To some, everything is.

people still do it. There weren't memes decades ago. You assume white southern kids are racist, you don't even need symbols, you know in your heart they're racist anyway
To be clear, just the ones who support Trump. The rest get the benefit of the doubt. I’ve actually lived in the south, though, and heard the vile things that are still said (at work in office buildings, mind you).

Read the article I posted - I know the origin. But I also know it’s purposefully used because it’s very easy to defend it too like many in this thread have. This is a recent development over the past few years.
